Nano biologics are biological compounds that deals at the nanometer scale. They are too small to be seen with naked eye, as they are even smaller than 1/100th the size of a grain of sand. Although virtually invisible, these nano biologics are gaining their popularity in the field of nanotechnology and biomedical due to their endogenous features and multifunctional properties. They are highly promising to become the next-generation therapeutics where they can be used to improve drug delivery systems, create safer and more effective therapies as well as to be used as therapeutic biomarkers.
